Dr. Desai graduated from the University of Texas where he was also was an All-American athlete.
Dr.Desai went to medical school at University of North Texas Health Science Center.  He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency in Chicago, and an AO  fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Michigan International Foot and Ankle Center, only one of two in the country.
