Dr. Michelle L. McDonald is a board-certified urologist and native Texan. She earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed a surgical internship and urology residency at the University of California San Diego, followed by a two-year kidney transplant fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles. Specializing in adult urology, Dr. McDonald treats a wide range of conditions in both men and women, including prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers; erectile dysfunction; kidney stones; stress incontinence; and even labial reduction. She performs both minimally invasive and complex open procedures, with a focus on patient goals and quality of life. Known for her straightforward, accessible approach, she sees patients at Urology Clinics of North Texas locations in Dallas and Mesquite.
