Dr. Julio Cesar Albarracin earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and attended McGovern Medical School in Houston, TX. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at Georgetown University Hospital and a fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Emory Eye Center. Dr. Albarracin is a skilled cataract and refractive surgeon. He has a special interest in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and advanced intraocular lens technologies. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and an active member of several professional societies. He is a native Spanish speaker. Outside of work, he enjoys family time, traveling, and running.
