Dr. Emmanuel Chang specializes in all aspects of adult and pediatric vitreoretinal diseases with a particular interest in macular diseases such as puckers, macular holes and age related macular degeneration, retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, and vein occlusions. Dr. Chang completed his undergraduate degree at Duke University as an A.B. Duke Scholar, the highest academic scholarship offered at Duke. After Duke, he obtained an MD/Phd from Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) and Rice University. He completed his ophthalmology residency at BCM serving as Chief Resident and his retinal fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital, Assoc. Retinal Consultants in Royal Oak, MI. He believes in providing the latest personalized medicine to treating retinal diseases and deeply cares about his patients.
