Dr. Valeria Rubinstein is a Yale University-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist, and a Columbia University fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist. She is dedicated to restoring, preserving, and improving patients’ vision and provides them with the best possible comprehensive care. Dr. Rubinstein performs small-incision, sutureless cataract surgery with the option for femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery and implantation of standard and premium intraocular lenses (multifocal, extended depth of focus and astigmatic-correcting intraocular lenses). She specializes in adult glaucoma care, utilizing the latest laser and surgical techniques. She performs office-based glaucoma lasers, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and more complex glaucoma surgeries for advanced disease.
