Dr. Szilárd Kiss received his doctorate of medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He completed his ophthalmology residency and surgical vitreoretinal fellowship at Harvard Medical School, and was then recruited to Weill Cornell Medical College to assume the role of chief of the retina service and director of clinical research in the Department of Ophthalmology. His clinical interests include complex vitreoretinal surgery and treatment of age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal degenerations. Dr. Kiss has won numerous awards and honors, been named to several “top doctors” lists, and been elected as a charter member of the Retina Hall of Fame
