John S. Kung, MD, is a Columbia trained eye surgeon practicing in Staten Island, NY and East Brunswick, NJ. He completed his residency and chief residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and received additional subspecialty training in cornea/ refractive surgery and retinal diseases. He is an inventor of surgical instruments and the first in New York and New Jersey to implant the Light Adjustable Lens which allows the BEST vision after cataract surgery. This technology allows adjustments to the lens power in the office after surgery, while it is in the patient’s eye, without the need for additional surgery.
