James R. Kelly, MD is the Director of Refractive Surgery Education at Northwell Health. He is the Founder of Kelly Vision, a boutique surgical vision correction practice on the Upper East Side. He is a graduate of Columbia University, Cornell University Medical College, and The Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. Since 1998, he has been a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and has performed over 75,000 successful vision correction surgeries. He is active in many professional societies and is a consultant to various companies in eye health. The focus of his practice is to provide a full spectrum of modern surgical vision procedures and technologies to maximize his patients’ visual needs. The entire complement of surgeries are performed in a state-of-the-art facility within the office. The most common procedures are Laser Cataract and Premium Implants, Wavelight Plus LASIK, EVO ICL, SMILE Pro, PRK and a full array of Dry Eye and cosmetic eye treatments.
