Eva Morava, MD, PhD is an internationally recognized expert in inborn errors of metabolism, with a focus on congenital disorders of glycosylation (CDG) and mitochondrial diseases. A pediatrician and board-certified in genetics, she leads clinical trials and develops novel therapies for rare metabolic disorders. Dr. Morava directs the Program for Inherited Metabolic Diseases at Mount Sinai. An active educator and researcher, she has published over 350 papers and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Molecular Genetics and Metabolism, advancing the field of metabolic medicine through research, clinical care, and education.
