Anuradha Lala-Trindade (Anu Lala)’s expertise includes all aspects of heart failure care, including its prevention, cardiomyopathies, mechanical circulatory support, heart transplant, and perioperative management of high-risk surgical cases. She is the Director of Heart Failure Research, serves as part of the NHLBI Cardiothoracic Surgery Network, leads the advanced heart failure fellowship program at Mount Sinai and is the Co-Editor-inChief of the Journal of Cardiac Failure. She has received prestigious teaching awards from the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association. Dr. Lala believes in a patient-centered approach, implementing state-of-the-art therapies while integrating emotional and spiritual needs for personalized care.
