Dr. Anuradha Lala-Trindade (Anu Lala)’s work includes all aspects of heart failure care, including circulatory support, heart transplant, inherited cardiomyopathies, and perioperative management of high-risk surgical cases. She believes in a patient-centered approach and implements state-of-the-art therapies while integrating emotional and spiritual care. She is the Director of Heart Failure Research and Data Coordinating Center leadership for the NHLBI Cardiothoracic Surgery Network, leads the advanced heart failure fellowship program at Mount Sinai, has authored over 85 articles, and is deputy editor for the Journal of Cardiac Failure. She has been an AHA Young Professionals Society Honoree and received teaching awards from the American College of Cardiology.
