Dr. Steven Vasilev specializes in MIGS advanced robotic excision surgery for endometriosis, with an emphasis on complex, repeat, and deeply infiltrating disease. His background in gynecologic oncology and complex pelvic surgery provides a strong foundation for managing multi-organ involvement and surgically challenging cases, including patients with coexisting adenomyosis or endometriosis-associated malignancies.
He developed Integrative Endometriosis Surgery™, a care model that combines precision minimally invasive surgery with coordinated medical and supportive strategies to optimize recovery, long-term stability, and quality of life.
Dr. Vasilev is quadruple board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Integrative & Holistic Medicine. He is a Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and has served on the faculty at UCLA, USC, UCI, City of Hope, and the former John Wayne Cancer Institute. His clinical practice focuses on complex minimally invasive robotic pelvic surgery, primarily for endometriosis and related pelvic pathology.
