Profile

Dr. Nishant Patel graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and proceeded to complete his internship and residency in Urology at the University of California San Diego. He then completed a fellowship in Endourology and Kidney Stone disease at the Cleveland Clinic. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.

He was in academic medicine prior to returning to the San Diego area at the University of Virginia and UCLA Health System.  He treats male and female patients of all ages, with an emphasis on kidney stones, urinary symptoms, enlarged prostate, infections, genitourinary cancers, prostate problems, sexual health, erectile dysfunction, and sterilization.

Dr Patel is an active member of the American Urological Association and the Western Section AUA. His outside interests include tennis, hiking, cooking and traveling with his family.
