Practicing in Orange County since 1982, Dr. Lawrence Werlin is a nationally noted specialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He is founder and medical director of Coastal Fertility Medical Center. Dr. Werlin was founder and director of Hoag Memorial Hospital Fertility Services, and serves as professor in the division of reproductive endocrinology and infertility at UCI. He pioneered the use of Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) in Southern California. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, The Society of Assisted Reproductive Technologies and Pacific Coast Reproductive Society.
