Dr. Hanadi Ajam Oughli is a board-certified adult and geriatric psychiatrist, as well as a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences. Her clinical expertise spans mood, anxiety, and cognitive disorders in adults and older adults, with a particular focus on holistic and integrative care. Trained in both integrative therapies and mindfulness, Dr. Oughli combines these techniques in her practice to enhance patient outcomes.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Oughli is actively engaged in research, focusing on pharmacological strategies and innovative combination therapies. She explores augmentation strategies that incorporate complementary and behavioral interventions for treating mood and cognitive disorders across all age groups.
Dr. Oughli is also trained in advanced neuromodulation techniques, including Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) and Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS). She is an active member of the UCLA TMS Clinical and Research Service, contributing to research and treatment in this field.
