Dr. Michael Colvard is recognized as one of the nation’s leading cataract surgeons. He is in private practice in Encino and Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology on the volunteer clinical faculty of UCLA Stein Eye Institute. In addition to the Super Doctors® listing, independent consumer groups have recognized him as one of “America’s Top Ophthalmologists” and one of America’s 100 most influential eye surgeons. He is the principal author of the textbook Achieving Excellence in Cataract Surgery and is editor of several medical journals. Dr. Colvard has received the Honor Award and Senior Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
