Jason M. Cuéllar, MD, PHD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon providing compassionate treatment of patients with spinal disorders. He has a particular focus on the principles of motion-preservation and minimally-invasive surgical techniques. Whenever appropriate for the patient, he attempts to avoid fusion by utilizing artificial disk replacement (total disc replacement) in both the neck and back, or minimally-invasive decompression if at all possible. Dr. Cuéllar also provides anti-inflammatory injections for the non-surgical treatment of knee, shoulder and hip arthritis. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
